Salty is a weekly newsletter about modern culture, viewed via the lens of fitness, fashion, travel and hospitality. Today, nothing exists in a vacuum. What’s happening in food creates momentum in health and wellness, and vice versa; movements in sport, and the ways we are engaging with it, shows up in fashion and shapes our perceptions of beauty.

Everything is connected. Micro trends become mainstream. Salty is interested in what’s going on, and why.

It will examine, with curiosity, expenditure. How are we, as consumers, spending both time and money? How are businesses across those aforementioned sectors adapting to these new behaviours to stay relevant? Salty will look at what’s happening right now, always in the context of what’s next. It will focus on smaller shifts, and what each could signal for the bigger, broader picture of our future. Are companies shaping it? Or are we?
